WTO Technical Cooperation activities Technical cooperation in electronic form: in order to facilitate the dissemination of information on the WTO multilateral trading system, computer-based interactive tools are being developed. A first package is available as a pilot through Internet and on CD-ROM. This package covers all concepts normally developed in a 4 to 5 day seminar. Developing WTO member countries

Trade Policy Courses The WTO finances and organizes three Trade Policy Courses per year for trade officials from developing countries. The Courses, held in English and alternately in French and Spanish, take place in Geneva and last for twelve. Officials from developing countries of member or observer countries

Information Technologies for Development (ITD) The Trade and Development Centre is run jointly by the World Trade Organization and the World Bank's Economic Development Institute.

Services:

  • Advisory Center to WTO law:

    The Centre provides free of charge seminars on WTO Jurisprudence and legal advice on WTO legal questions. In addition, at discounted rates, it will provide legal services throughout dispute settlement proceedings

All least developed countries will benefit from the Centre's services. In addition membership is open to all other WTO Members upon a one time financial contribution.
