Meeting of Experts on Customs-Related Business Facilitation Measures
 PRESS COMMUNIQUÉ
 A meeting of Experts on Customs-related Business Facilitation Measures of the FTAA took place in Miami, Florida, 
on May 4 and 5, 2000. Delegates from the following countries were present: Argentina, Bahamas, Barbados, Bolivia, 
Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Costa Rica, Chile, Ecuador, United States, Guatemala, Honduras, Jamaica, Mexico, Nicaragua, 
Panama, Peru, Dominican Republic, and Uruguay.
 
The Experts covered all issues listed on the agenda, which is attached to this communiqué. The meeting of Experts 
continued its efforts towards the implementation of the Customs-related Business Facilitation Measures approved by 
Trade Ministers in Toronto Ministerial Meeting, including technical assistance required by some FTAA members to 
implement these measures. This Group of Experts will hold their next meeting on July 10-11, 2000
