COMMUNITY OF DEMOCRACIES OF THE AMERICAS.

FOSTERING AND PROTECTING HUMAN RIGHTS

The evolution of humanity has already witnessed the defense of divine rights; and now, erroneously, we are experiencing the euphoria of human rights. Actions that are highly egotistical and prejudicial to sociability. Let’s take a look at excerpts from Augusto Comte, to illustrate this point:

  • “The individual guarantees of the rules of Rights result in the reciprocity of duties within society; everyone has obligations towards everyone else. Freedom is an indispensable right of life in society, everywhere and throughout all time, as with individual independence and voluntary participation.” This is one of Augusto Comte's original human freedom theories. POLITIQUE, l, 361.

  • "WE NEED TO REPLACE OUR DIVINE RIGHTS AND HUMAN RIGHTS WITH UNIVERSAL DUTIES.”

  • "NO ONE EVER HOLDS ANY RIGHT OTHER THAN TO FOREVER FULFILL HIS OR HER DUTY."

  • "THE ISSUE OF RIGHTS WILL BE REPLACED BY THE SIMPLE DETERMINATION OF DUTIES.”

IT SHOULD BE: FOSTERING AND PROTECTING HUMAN DUTIES TOWARDS MANKIND.

These have already been defined in many works; what the duties are and their scope. It is a matter of education.
