Provisions on Trade in Services in Trade and Integration Agreements in the Western Hemisphere

A Member may maintain a measure inconsistent with paragraph 1 provided that such measure is listed in, and meets the conditions of, the Annex on Article II Exemptions.

The provisions of this Agreement shall not be so construed as to prevent any Member from conferring or according advantages to adjacent countries in order to facilitate exchanges limited to contiguous frontier zones of services that are both locally produced and consumed.

PART III, Article XVI - Market Access
With respect to market access through the modes of supply identified in Article I, each Member shall accord services and service suppliers of any other Member treatment no less favourable than that provided for under the terms, limitations and conditions agreed and specified in its schedule.

Chapter Twelve, Article 1203: Most-Favored-Nation Treatment
Each Party shall accord to service providers of another Party treatment no less favorable than that it accords, in like circumstances, to service providers of any other Party or of a non-Party.

Each Party shall accord to service providers of any other Party the better of the treatment required by Articles 1202 and 1203.

Chapter IV, Article 7
Each Member Country accords immediately and unconditionally to services and service providers of other Member Countries, treatment no less favourable than that concedes to like services and service providers of any other Member Country or non-Member Country of the Andean Community. Without affecting this provision, a Member Country may confer or accord advantages to adjacent countries in order to facilitate the exchange of services that are both locally produced and consumed in the contiguous frontier zones.

Each Party immediately and unconditionally shall accord to services and to service providers of the other Party treatment no less favorable than that it accords to its own services or like service providers.

The provisions of this chapter shall not be construed so as to prevent a Party from conferring advantages to adjacent countries in order to facilitate exchanges limited to contiguous frontier zones of services that are locally produced or consumed.

Part II, Article III: Most-Favoured Nation Treatment
With respect to measures contained in this Protocol, each Party shall accord immediately and unconditionally to services and service providers of another Party, treatment no less favourable than that it concedes to like services and service providers of any other Party or third countries.
