FTAA - NEGOTIATING GROUP ON GOVERNMENT PROCUREMENT
Twenty-Third Meeting
Puebla, June 9 – 12, 2003
PRESS COMMUNIQUÉ
- The Twenty-third Meeting of the Negotiating
Group on Government Procurement (NGGP) was held in Puebla from June 9-12,
2003. The following countries were in attendance: Argentina, Bahamas,
Barbados, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican
Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Jamaica, Mexico,
Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Trinidad and Tobago, United States, and
Venezuela.
- The Agenda approved for discussion is attached as Annex I.
- All of the items on the agenda were considered.
- The Group acknowledged receipt of the 10 civil society contributions
forwarded by the Committee of Government Representatitves on the
Participation of Civil Society to the NGGP.
