VII. Settlement of Disputes Between a Contracting Party and an Investor | B. Arbitration | 2. Consent

Free Trade Agreement Between Bolivia and Mexico

Each Party consents to submit claims to arbitration with adherence to the procedures and requirements set forth in this section. (Article 15-23(1)).

The submission of a claim to arbitration by a disputing investor shall satisfy the requirement of: a) Chapter II of the ICSID Convention (Jurisdiction of the Centre) and the Rules of the ICSID Additional Facility, which require the written consent of the Parties; b) Article II of the New York Convention, which requires a written agreement; and c) Article I of the Inter-American Convention, which requires an agreement. (Article 15-23(2)).

Free Trade Agreement Between Costa Rica and Mexico

Each Party consents to submit claims to arbitration with adherence to the procedures and requirements set forth in this section. (Article 13-24(1)).

The submission of a claim to arbitration by a disputing investor shall satisfy the requirement of: a) Chapter II of the ICSID Convention (Jurisdiction of the Centre) and the Rules of the ICSID Additional Facility, which require the written consent of the Parties; b) Article II of the New York Convention, which requires a written agreement; and c) Article I of the Inter-American Convention, which requires an agreement. (Article 13-24(2)).

Free Trade Agreement Between Canada and Chile

Each Party consents to the submission of a claim to arbitration in accordance with the procedures set out in this Agreement. (Article G-23(1)).

The consent given by paragraph 1 and the submission by a disputing investor of a claim to arbitration shall satisfy the requirement of:
(a) Chapter II of the ICSID Convention (Jurisdiction of the Centre) and the Additional Facility Rules for written consent of the parties; (b) Article II of the New York Convention for an agreement in writing; and (c) Article I of the Inter-American Convention for an agreement. (Article G-23(2).
