    FTAA - NEGOTIATING GROUP ON GOVERNMENT PROCUREMENT Twenty-Third Meeting
 Puebla, June 9 – 12, 2003
 PRESS COMMUNIQUÉ 
    The Twenty-third Meeting of the Negotiating 
    Group on Government Procurement (NGGP) was held in Puebla from June 9-12, 
    2003. The following countries were in attendance: Argentina, Bahamas, 
    Barbados, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican 
    Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Jamaica, Mexico, 
    Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Trinidad and Tobago, United States, and 
    Venezuela.
 
The Agenda approved for discussion is attached as Annex I.
 
All of the items on the agenda were considered.
 
The Group acknowledged receipt of the 10 civil society contributions 
    forwarded by the Committee of Government Representatitves on the 
    Participation of Civil Society to the NGGP.
