FTAA – NEGOTIATING GROUP ON GOVERNMENT PROCUREMENT

 PRESS COMMUNIQUÉ
 
The Twenty-first Meeting of the Negotiating Group on Government Procurement 
(NGGP) was held in Panama from February 10-14, 2003. The following countries 
were in attendance: Argentina, Bahamas, Barbados, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, 
Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, 
Guatemala, Jamaica, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Peru, Trinidad and Tobago, and 
United States.
 
The Agenda approved for discussion is attached as 
Annex I.
 
The meeting considered all of the items on the agenda.
In this occasion, there were no additional civil society contributions 
on government procurement forwarded by the Committee of Government 
Representatives on the Participation of Civil Society.

framework of the Hemispheric Cooperation Program (HCP).
