Nineteenth Meeting

PRESS COMMUNIQUÉ
- The Nineteenth Meeting of the Negotiating Group on Government Procurement
(NGGP) was held in Panama from September 10-11, 2002. The following countries
were in attendance: Antigua and Barbuda, Argentina, Bahamas, Belize, Brazil,
Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El
Salvador, Grenada, Guatemala, Honduras, Jamaica, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama,
Paraguay, Peru, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago,
United States and Venezuela.
- The Agenda approved for discussion is attached as
Annex I.
- The meeting considered all of the items on the agenda.
- During this meeting, there were no additional civil society
contributions on government procurement forwarded by the Committee of Government
Representatives on the Participation of Civil Society.
